Subscriptions & billing

Purchase subscriptions.
Directly from your application.

Our REST API lets you integrate subscription purchases and renewals into your application. This makes the commercial onboarding part of your user journey.

A practical example

A customer sets up a platform connection in your software. After verified registration, you can order the initial subscription through the REST API and account for payment status in your workflow. Your customer can see whether the order is awaiting payment or the connection is already active.

Integrate purchasing into your workflow

The initial subscription order uses the plan, capacity and term specified during registration. It also creates an invoice and an open receivable. Clearly show your customer what they are ordering and the cost before they complete the purchase.

Clearly distinguish ordered from active

A successfully created order is not yet an active service. In the documented prepaid workflow, access remains inactive until payment has been settled in full. Display order and activation status separately so your customer knows the next step.

Plan renewals ahead

Renewals can also be ordered through the REST API. They are initiated by the account administrator and follow the latest purchased period. Plan reminders for the end of the term and outstanding payment. Use the same idempotency key when retrying an order to avoid accidentally creating the same purchase again.
